Earth Day – Plant a Tree

In this activity, we’ll invite Quivira residents to plant a tree at Amakiri in celebration of Earth Day. We’ll provide the tree and a label, residents simply need to come, plant their tree, write a name on the tag, and they’ll be able to visit it later, water it and watch it grow.

Note: No gardening experience is required. The Amakiri nursery team will be on site to assist.

En esta actividad invitaremos a los Residentes de Quivira a plantar un árbol en Amakiri para celebrar el Día Mundial de la Tierra. Nosotros pondremos el arbolito y una etiqueta, ellos solo tienen que venir, plantar su árbol, poner el nombre a la etiqueta que pondrán al arbolito y podrán visitarlo después, venir a regarlo.

Nota: No se requiere experiencia en jardinería, tendremos apoyo del vivero de Amakiri.
